Brawn: Rosberg didn't put a foot wrong
Mercedes team boss Ross Brawn has lauded Nico Rosberg for his performance in Sunday afternoon's British Grand Prix at Silverstone, with the German taking full advantage of the drama unfolding around him to record a third career triumph. Having started from second on the grid, Rosberg initially dropped to third as the race got underway, but when team-mate Lewis Hamilton suffered a tyre failure and Sebastian Vettel retired with a gearbox issue, his path to the victory was cleared. He then survived a late scare in the form of a resurgent Mark Webber, who finished just seven tenths adrift after pitting for fresh tyres under the final Safety Car period.
