Jean-Eric Vergne upset after mistake during qualifying

Jean-Eric Vergne endured a frustrating qualifying session ahead of the British Grand Prix around Silverstone, after the Frenchman made a mistake during his quick lap in Q2 and therefore failed to progress to the top ten shootout. This understandably angered the Toro Rosso driver, as team-mate Daniel Ricciardo stormed to 6th on the grid. Since the announcement of Mark Webber’s decision to retire from Formula 1 at the end of the current season, both Toro Rosso drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Eric Vergne have visibly upped their game in a bid to impress Red Bull in their quest for promotion within the outfit.
