Davide Valsecchi gives Lotus Silverstone updates the thumbs up
SILVERSTONE, June 28th, 2013 (F1plus/R. Baillie).- Free Practice 1 was a washout with only 11 drivers setting a timed lap, which must be frustrating for teams who’ve are eager to test their new updates. The past couple of races haven’t been easy for Lotus with Kimi Raikkonen’s podium streak ending and DNF’s for Romain Grosjean in both Spain and Monaco. In order to try and climb their way back up the standings this weekend’s updates need to work well to help both drivers achieve a strong finish. Speaking on the Lotus website earlier in the week Alan Permane, Lotus Trackside Operations Director, revealed that they were running with “a tighter, figure-hugging bodywork package...
