Webber's career call took Red Bull by surprise

Mark Webber caught his Red Bull team on the hop on Thursday with the announcement that he was leaving Formula One at the end of the season to race Le Mans with Porsche. Team principal Christian Horner told reporters at the British Grand Prix that his Australian driver had rung him just before a Porsche statement was issued to let him know his decision. "I had a call this morning and that was the first I knew about it. He's obviously decided to take things into his own hands," said the Briton.
