Williams adopts special livery for 600th race

Williams will adopt a special car livery for the upcoming British Grand Prix at Silverstone, with the Grove-based outfit celebrating its 600th race in Formula 1. Although Williams will not record its 600th start until the following round of the season at the Nürburgring, due to all Michelin runners pulling out of 2005 United States Grand Prix, the team reached the milestone number of appearances at Silverstone. Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas' FW35s will feature the number 600 on both sidepods to mark the occasion, with the names of all 691 Williams employees, who work across all divisions of the Williams Group, also emblazoned on the livery.
