Maldonado hoping for points as Williams hits 600
Pastor Maldonado is hoping to mark Williams' 600th F1 race in style by putting in a 'strong' showing and scoring points this weekend at the British Grand Prix.The Grove-based outfit has had a difficult season so far and as yet has still to open its account, with two elevenths – in Malaysia and Bahrain – the 'highlights', although Maldonado's team-mate, Valtteri Bottas shone last time out in Canada when he made the most of the mixed conditions in qualifying to take third on the grid.Looking to Silverstone, the eighth round in the 2013 F1 World Championship, Maldonado added it is going to be a special event: “This weekend has been something that the team have been looking forward to...
