Horse Whisperer criticises Merc's penalty

Ferrari's Horse Whisperer has called Mercedes' reprimand and ban from the Young Driver Test nothing more than a "rap across the knuckles". On Friday, Mercedes were found guilty of breaching the testing regulations by running a 2013 car during a three-day outing with Pirelli. The judges, though, deemed that Mercedes had not acted in bad faith although insisted that the team had gained an advantage. The Brackley-based outfit was therefore reprimanded and banned from next month's Young Driver Test at Silverstone.
