Perez: 'Not even miracles can save McLaren'

Sergio Perez has given a damning verdict on McLaren's season so far and their recent steps to improve the car, with the Mexican declaring not even a miracle can save their season. The 23-year-old joined McLaren after impressing at Sauber in 2012. He boldy claimed he would be fighting for the title in his first year with the team after McLaren showed great pace at the end of last season. That pace hasn't translated through to the MP4-28 for various reasons and, despite their best efforts, they're yet to make much of a step forward. Speaking to Agence France-Presse, Perez proclaimed that nothing can save them. "There is nothing that can save us; not rain, not a miracle," he said....
