Marshal dies from injuries sustained after Canadian GP
June 9th, 2013 (F1Plus / Chris Cameron-Dow) - A shadow has been cast over the Canadian Grand Prix weekend by the news that a track worker at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has died from injuries sustained while Esteban Gutierrez's car was being returned to the pits by a mobile crane after the race was completed. The marshal stumbled in front of a recovery vehicle, which knocked him over and ran over his body. He was taken to hospital where he was treated, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
