Bottas: 'This result means a lot for Williams'

Williams have suffered their worst ever start to a Formula 1 season since the team was established back in 1977, but a third place in qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix comes as a real boost according to Valtteri Bottas. The Finn looked competitive throughout all three sessions, finishing fourth in Q1, then third in Q2. During the final session, it looked like things might not go his way, but Bottas made the most of the return of the rain to go third quickest. He says they got "everything right" on Saturday. "It means a lot. We're way further up than we could ever imagine. It has been so difficult for the first six races for us, and it’s a nice boost for the team....
