Hamilton 'pretty on it' in Montreal

Lewis Hamilton believes Mercedes can be "really competitive" this weekend in Canada, especially if it remains dry. The weekend's action got off to a wet start in first practice with Hamilton finishing down in 16th place on the drying track. However, Friday's second session saw a marked improvement from the Brit, who is eager to level the score with Nico Rosberg this weekend. Hamilton finished FP2 second quickest, just 0.012s adrift of pace-setter Fernando Alonso. "If it's dry I think we're really competitive," he told Sky Sports F1.
