Rosberg: Drivers aided Pirelli
Nico Rosberg has insisted that it was to Pirelli's specific benefit that both he and Lewis Hamilton, rather than Mercedes reserve driver Sam Bird, drove the W04 in the secret Barcelona test.Mercedes, along with tyre supplier Pirelli, have been summoned to appear before a specially-convened FIA hearing into the controversial event, with a probe of Ferrari's post-Bahrain tyre test dropped after the Scuderia informed the governing body they only used a two-year-old car piloted by development driver Pedro de la Rosa.
