Caterham launch new driver academy

The Caterham F1 Team has launched a 'new' driver academy to help develop and support young drivers coming up through the ranks. The new driver development program will give 'a clear route to F1 for future champions and enables young motor sport talent from around the world to excel in all the attributes required by racing drivers to achieve success in 21st century motor sport.' The Leafield based squad currently run a driver development program but has now decided to upgrade it to an official academy, something a number of other teams also have.
