Williams makes worst start to season since 1975

Williams has made its worst start to a season since 1975, its debut year in Formula 1. With no points in the first six races, the British team’s results this year has surpassed its struggles in 2011 when it failed to score in the opening five races in that campaign. “We had a difficult weekend in Monaco, but we did find a good direction for development which we will be carrying through to Canada with a number of new parts,” said technical director Mike Coughlan. “There is still a lot of work to do, but we are confident that everyone in the team is pushing hard to get us back to where we need to be,” he added.
