Grosjean: I've been doing my best

Lotus F1 driver Romain Grosjean has conceded that 'on paper' his season to date hasn't been 'as good as he would have wanted it to be'.The Frenchman endured a nightmare weekend in Monaco, crashing twice in practice and then in the race he ploughed into the back of Daniel Ricciardo's Toro Rosso.Despite that though, he is adamant he has been happy with his form in all the other events this year and while he will have a ten-place grid penalty in Canada this coming weekend – a result of that collision with Ricciardo – he is still optimistic he can get a good result at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.“On paper it's not as good as we would have wanted it to be, but I'm happy with all my...
