Perez defends his aggressive approach

Sergio Perez thinks he raced "hard and fairly" during the Monaco Grand Prix despite being criticised by some of his rivals. Perez incurred the wrath of fellow drivers after battling his way through the field and attempting some audacious passing moves at the Nouvelle Chicane. Kimi Raikkonen said the McLaren driver should be "punched in the face" after Perez's failed attempt to overtake him for fourth place which resulted in contact. However, Perez, who eventually retired with a brake issue, has defended his approach in Monaco, arguing it was hard but fair.
