Monaco GP halted after major crash

"true">The Monaco Grand Prix has been red flagged on Lap 46 after a major crash between Pastor Maldonado and Max Chilton at the Tabac corner. Both men were unharmed in the accident, but the trackside barriers required extensive repairs. After cutting the chicane on the exit of the tunnel, Marussia driver Chilton attempted to keep Maldonado at bay on the run up to Tabac, but the pair locked wheels as they approached the braking zone, sending the Williams driver sliding into the barriers. Although the drivers escaped without injury, with Chilton still active in the 78-lap race, serious damage was caused to the trackside barriers and the decision was taken to halt proceedings....
