Rivals protest over Mercedes tyre test

"true">Red Bull and Ferrari are the first teams to have filed protests against Mercedes ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, with both questioning whether the Silver Arrows had been permitted to complete its recent tyre test at the Circuit de Catalunya. Following the Spanish Grand Prix, during which Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton dropped from the front row to sixth and 12th amid intense tyre degradation, Mercedes amassed 1000km of running at the Montmeló venue.
