Rosberg beats Hamilton to pole

Nico Rosberg beat Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton to pole position at the Monaco Grand Prix. It was Rosberg's third consecutive pole as he beat the Red Bulls of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. Lotus's Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso were next. McLaren's Sergio Perez took seventh and team-mate Jenson Button ninth. Force India's Paul di Resta failed to make it past the first part of qualifying and will line up 17th. Rosberg, who has been the form man all weekend, was just 0.091 seconds quicker than Hamilton.
