Grosjean accepts responsibility for crash

Romain Grosjean has accepted full responsibility for his early exit from the second free practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix on Thursday afternoon, with the Lotus driver losing control of his car under braking for Sainte Devote and hitting the barriers. Having featured at the top of timesheets during the early Soft tyre runs, Grosjean's accident came when he switched to the Super Soft rubber, with the former GP2 Champion admitting that he simply misjudged his braking and entry speeds.
