'Ecclestone facing bribery charges'
Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone is facing charges in Germany relating to a bribery case, according to a German newspaper.
The German daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung reported on Tuesday that the "Munich prosecutor has filed charges against Bernie Ecclestone" in relationship to the F1 bribery scandal.
Ecclestone is set to be charged with "bribing a public official" as well as "abetting breach of fiduciary duty."
He has yet to be charged as it "will take some time" for the legal documents to be translated into English and handed to the F1 supremo and his lawyers.
