Alonso 'optimistic' about title chance

Fernando Alonso believes as long as he improves his finishing record for this season he has a good shot at walking away with the World title. The double World Champion has had a mixed season to date and currently finds himself fourth in the Drivers' Championship, 30 points behind Sebastian Vettel. However, it's not a lack of pace that has cost him this season. Rather it's been incidents. A broken front wing put him out of the Malaysian Grand Prix while a DRS issues in China meant he was unable to defend himself.
