'Most teams want to keep tyres' – Pirelli

"true">Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli says "the vast majority of teams" have requested that its new-for-2013 compounds remain unchanged as the season progresses, with the brand speaking out amid complaints over inconsistency and high degradation levels. Although drivers have expressed concerns about the life of Pirelli’s rubber, particularly with the Soft compound at Shanghai, the Italian manufacturer’s Motorsport Director, Paul Hembery, claims he has been urged by most of the grid not to make tweaks. Pirelli's revised compounds have come under fire"It’s no different this year than any other year," Hembery explained to the Reuters news agency....
