Hamilton wants more speed

SHANGHAI, April 14, 2013 (AFP) - Lewis Hamilton held off a rampaging Sebastian Vettel to take third in the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday for Mercedes, his second podium for his new team, but said he still wants more from his car. The Briton, in only his third race for Mercedes since defecting from McLaren, was on pole in Shanghai but surrendered his lead on only lap five when the Ferraris of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa streamed past him on the straight. Team principal Ross Brawn told former world champion Hamilton on the radio at the end of the race that "we're not quite there yet". Alonso won the race, with the Lotus of Kimi Raikkonen in second.
