Schumacher gets increased Mercedes role

Mercedes-Benz and Michael Schumacher have strengthened their ties in a new long-term partnership which will see the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion serve as an ambassador of the renowned German automobile manufacturer. Schumacher, who has long campaigned for improved road safety, will take on duties 'far beyond motorsport and Formula 1'. In the near future, he will hold a leading role in the development of the brand's safety and comfort systems, entitled Intelligent Drive.
