Hamilton denies he chased Red Bull for seat
Lewis Hamilton has denied Bernie Ecclestone's claims that he chased the 82-year-old to secure him a seat at Red Bull for 2013. Ecclestone made the comments on Saturday, saying Hamilton had approached him in 2012 to ask for his help in brokering a deal to replace Mark Webber, however Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz chose to retain the Australian. Hamilton denies Ecclestone's version of events and, whilst admitting an approach was made to Red Bull, it was by his management team.
