World champions passed over in Laureus voting

Neither Sebastian Vettel nor Red Bull Racing was able to prise a prestigious Laureus World Sport award away from stars of the London 2012 Olympics, as F1 was again passed over by voters.The individual and team world champions were both included on the list of nominations for the 2013 awards, but found themselves up against formidable opposition after an unprecedented year of sport.Despite claiming his third crown in as many years, and becoming the youngest driver ever to achieve a title hat-trick, Vettel lost out to Olympic 100 metre and 200 metre gold medallist Usain Bolt, along with another double Olympic winner, Mo Farah, Barcelona FC star Lionel Messi, multi gold medallist swimmer...
