Hulkenberg: The baseline is good

Nico Hulkenberg believes Sauber are ready for the challenges ahead after a solid showing in pre-season testing. Leaving Force India in favour of a move to Sauber for this season, Hulkenberg quickly adapted to his new team and their C32. The German demonstrated good pace during the pre-season, finishing sixth overall, while the Sauber covered more kilometres than any other team at Barcelona. "In terms of competitiveness, the final Barcelona test showed we are quite well prepared but still have some homework to do, and that we still have room for improvement in certain areas," said the German.
