Marussia ditches Razia for Bianchi's finances

Marussia was forced to terminate Luiz Razia’s contract for the 2013 season after the Brazilian’s sponsors failed to raise the money to secure his seat. Jules Bianchi, who was beaten by Adrian Sutil for a Force India drive, will be replacing Razia this season, becoming the fourth Frenchman on the grid this year. “We have found ourselves in a situation where we have had to terminate our contract with Luiz Razia,” team principal John Booth explained the decision. “Having made clear the basis on which we must operate in 2013, and given the steps we had taken to put that new structure in place, we had no alternative but to remain true to the principles which we had...
