KERS failure hits Caterham running
Giedo van der Garde revealed his afternoon running was affected by a lack of KERS at Barcelona. Caterham caused the only red flag of the day when van der Garde came to a halt between turns two and three late in the afternoon as a result of a fuel run out test. Up to that point he had managed to complete 93 laps but he said the final 43 laps done after lunch were compromised slightly by technical problem. "We've had a pretty productive day and completing 93 laps meant we were able to run through the whole plan we'd set out for today," van der Garde said.
