Rosberg fastest on Day One in Barcelona
By Editor on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 Nico Rosberg set the fastest time as the second pre-season test kicked off at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona.
Rosberg's time of 1:22.616 was just 0.007s quicker than the Lotus E21 of Kimi Raikkonen.
After electing to skip the opening test, Fernando Alonso was given his first taste of the Ferrari F138 and he finished in third place, the only man to complete over 100 laps.
Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel topped the morning but despite improving his lap time, he ended the day in fourth place.
