Rory Byrne back helping Ferrari

Rory Byrne, the South African designer whose cars helped Michael Schumacher secure seven Formula One drivers' titles with Benetton and Ferrari, is helping Ferrari with the development of the team's car for 2014. Byrne, 69, was seen at the launch of the 2013 F138 and on Sunday Ferrari confirmed he was assisting with the Enzo road car project but also giving "operational support" on the 2014 F1 car. An earlier report in Germany's Auto Motor und Sport quoted Byrne as saying he was "working full steam" on the car with the F138 looking like "child's play" in comparison to it.
