De La Rosa to test new Ferrari before Alonso

Fernando Alonso will NOT be inaction at the first pre-season test in Jerez on February 5, Fernando instead opting to improve his personal fitness.Felipe Massa will be in action for the first 3 days, New test driver Pedro De La Rosa, who signed after HRT folded last year, will be in action on the final day.Fernando will be back in the car, sharing duties with Felipe Massa at Catalunya on February 19.This is not as big a issue as it may seem, the first test will mainly be focused on system checks, car part checks, long runs and gathering data from the new Pirelli tyres on long runs.
