Vettel is Ferrari's preferred Alonso successor

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo says Sebastian Vettel would be a perfect fit for Ferrari should Fernando Alonso leave. Whilst the Italian believes Alonso is the best driver in the sport, should such a scenario present itself in which the Spaniard chose to leave, di Montezemolo would encourage Vettel or the lesser preferred Lewis Hamilton to take over the lead role.
