Coulthard to present FIA Prize Giving Gala

David Coulthard will present the annual FIA Prize Giving Gala at the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul on Friday evening. The ex-Formula 1 driver and current BBC pundit will be joined on stage by Ece Vahapoğlu, one of Turkey's best-known broadcasters. Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel will be officially crowned as the 2012 Formula 1 World Champion and given the Drivers' trophy at the ceremony, while Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen will be recognised for finishing second and third respectively. In the past, Monaco was the chosen location for the Gala. Since 2011, where the FIA opted to hold the Prize Giving ceremony in New Delhi, it has moved around the globe.
