Fernando Alonso believes Ferrari owed it to its fans to seek clarification from the FIA about Sebastian Vettel's now infamous overtaking move on Jean-Eric Vergne at the final race of the season. The news caused controversy last week as Ferrari questioned the legality of the pass, which Vettel made while yellow flag warning lights were still displayed on his dashboard.
