HRT missing from 2013 entry list

HRT appears set to close after failing to find a buyer in time to make the FIA's 2013 entry list. Having been put up for sale by owners Thesan Capital in early November, HRT was able to defer it's initial 500,000 entry fee for the 2013 season as it tried to find a buyer before the November 30 entry deadline. Having failed to do so and now been left off the FIA list of entrants for next season, it all but confirms the team's demise. HRT has been struggling financially throughout its time in the sport, having originally been entered as Campos Meta but then run by the Carabante family before being sold to Thesan Capital in July 2011.
