Formula 1 set to confirm Bahrain and Jeddah cancellations

Formula 1 is now believed to be on the brink of confirming the cancellation of its upcoming races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as conflict intensifies across the Middle East. Multiple sources indicate the announcement could come within days – possibly even hours – while the paddock is gathered in Shanghai for this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix. If confirmed, the decision would remove two consecutive rounds from the schedule originally planned for April 12 in Bahrain and April 19 in Saudi Arabia. The shadow of war has crept closer to the F1 paddock than ever before....
