Newey’s public criticism of Honda raises eyebrows in F1 paddock

The uneasy partnership between Aston Martin and Honda has erupted into a public debate – and some of Formula 1’s most seasoned voices fear the fallout could be costly. With Team Silverstone currently mired in a performance void courtesy of a problematic power unit, Aston team principal Adrian Newey has publicly exposed Honda’s shortfalls and inner workings, much to the bewilderment of many pundits in the paddock.
